Join us for "Rare Community Crisis Response Webinar with Give an Hour." Give an Hour is a national non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the mental health experience through accessibility and understanding. MGA has partnered with Give an Hour to offer structured, evidence-informed training session. We will focus on how to manage conversations with your peers who may be in crisis. There will be opportunities for participants to ask questions and practice real-life application of the covered material. Everyone will also be provided with take-away best practices and an action plan for urgent scenarios. What to expect This subject matter can be deeply sensitive and may evoke difficult memories and strong emotions. Please know that your well-being is paramount. If, at any point during our conversation about suicide and suicide ideation, you feel the need to step away, turn off your camera, or take any other measure to prioritize your emotional comfort and safety, that is entirely okay. Our aim is not to cause harm or discomfort, but rather to equip you with the knowledge and language you need to navigate these challenging topics when they arise in real-life crisis situations. Your mental wellness is of utmost importance, and we appreciate your efforts as we work together to build this essential understanding.
