As we welcome November, the Myasthenia Gravis Association is excited to bring a month full of opportunities to learn, connect, and celebrate community. From caregiver-focused programs in honor of National Family Caregivers Month to our 65th Annual Meeting & Educational Seminar, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy coffee clubs, support groups, and creative spaces designed to foster connection and empowerment across our MG community. Monday November 3, 2025 | Virtual Young Friends of the MGA

A causal virtual connection group for individuals living with MG in their 20s, 30s and 40s.

National Family Caregivers Month is recognized every November to provide information and support to those caring for loved ones with conditions like myasthenia gravis (MG). Caregiver Burnout by Heritage Specialty Pharmacy offers practical tips to help caregivers manage their responsibilities and take care of their own well-being. It’s a resource to help prevent burnout and balance the demands of caregiving.

Saturday November 8, 2025 | 65th Annual Meeting and Educational Seminar

Our 65th Annual Meeting & Educational Seminar is coming on Saturday November 8th, 2025. We hope you'll join us either in person in Kansas City OR virtually online across the globe! Virtual attendees in the US will receive a meeting packet in the mail.


With the support of Promptcare, we will be offering free nursing CEU's. Please note in your registration if you are a nurse obtaining CEU's.


We have two exciting keynotes where we will be hosting Dr. Al Freedman, rare dad and therapist as well as Dr. Liz Plowman, individual living with MG who is a physical therapist. Following our keynotes, we will host a Neurology Q & A with Mazen Dimachkie, MD, FAAN, FANA and Mamamtha Pasnoor, MD, FAAN, of the University of Kansas Medical Center, John Eatman, MD, of AdventHealth, and Vernita Hairston, MD, of the University of Missouri Health Care Columbia.


Breakfast and lunch will be served along with time to visit with over 10 vendors and service providers in our resource fair room.

Andrew Heim, Lead Project Manager, will give updates on clinical trials at the University of Kansas Medical Center and explain how you can get involved. These trials play a critical role in developing safer, more effective therapies for individuals with myasthenia gravis.
