As we welcome the warmth and vibrancy of July, the Myasthenia Gravis Association is excited to share a month full of engaging programs and events designed to support, educate, and connect our community. From informative webinars and support groups to fun-filled awareness activities, our July calendar is packed with opportunities for you to get involved, learn more about Myasthenia Gravis, and join forces with others who share a common goal. Join us as we continue to raise awareness, foster connections, and empower those affected by MG.

Thursday 18, 2024 | argenx Clinical Trial Update – Adapt Seron

Join argenx and the MGA as Dr. Jeffrey Guptill provides an update on the Adapt Seron trial.


Adapt seron is a phase 3 study to evaluate the efficacy of safety of Efgartigimod IV in patients with AChr – gMG, including MuSK-Ab, LRP4-Ab, and gMG patients with no identifiable autoantibodies.


Dr. Jeffrey Guptill is Neuromuscular Franchise Lead in Clinical Development at argenx. In this role he oversees the late-stage clinical development programs for efgartigimod (FcRn inhibitor) and empasibrupart (C2 complement inhibitor). He is also Adjunct Associate Professor of Neurology at Duke University School of Medicine.


Dr. Guptill received his medical training at Virginia Commonwealth University and subsequently completed an adult neurology residency and neuromuscular medicine/EMG and advanced neuromuscular disease fellowships at Duke University. Prior to joining argenx, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Neurology at Duke University.
