8th Annual Crown Town Trivia Night: From Humble Beginnings to Arrowhead Lights

What began as a fun way to connect with the community and raise funds for those living with myasthenia gravis has become one of the most anticipated nights of the year. The Crown Town Trivia Night, now in its eighth year, continues to grow in size, energy, and impact. Raising critical support for the Myasthenia Gravis Association (MGA) and the people we serve.
In 2017, we gathered at The Venue at Willow Creek, sharing laughs over trivia and dinner donated by local businesses. Fast forward to today, and we’re welcoming hundreds of guests inside Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs, for an unforgettable evening of trivia, auctions, cocktails, and camaraderie, all while raising awareness and funding for MG support services.
Thanks to the Kansas City Iowa State Alumni Club, our long-time planning partner and event co-host, Crown Town Trivia has not only grown in scale, but it’s also become a symbol of strength, community, and dedication.
What to Expect This Year – August 1, 2025

Location: GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium
VIP Cheers Hour: 5:30 PM
Program begins with trivia and breaks for Fund A Need & Live Auction: 7:00 PM
Silent Auction Closes: 8:30 PM
Live Auction & Fund-a-Need: Throughout the night
Tickets are available in tables of 10, couples or individual. Guests can enjoy early arrival VIP perks, including access to the Champagne Wall, private suites overlooking the field, exclusive photo ops, a chance to view authentic Super Bowl rings up close, and a personalized memento to take home with you— all while supporting a cause that truly changes lives.
Why It Matters
Proceeds from Crown Town Trivia directly support MGA’s mission to increase public awareness, provide education, resources, support, and meaningful connections to individuals, families, and friends impacted by MG. Funds raised from this event help:
Host free support groups and events
Fund new patient packets for those newly diagnosed
Maintain partnerships with regional MG clinics in Kansas and Missouri
Deliver virtual programs and webinars
Last year’s event helped send over 175 patient packets and conduct 95 support group meetings and virtual webinars.
Trivia, Auctions, and Heart
Over the years, Crown Town Trivia has included everything from pasta buffets and Boulevard brews to live auctions with beach condos, Reba concert suites, and signed memorabilia. It's not just about trivia, it’s about community showing up and showing support in big, bold ways.
