Are you scurrying around trying to finish your holiday shopping? We've done something like this before however we thought we'd do an update. What are some items that may be on the list of those in your life battling chronic illness? Take a peak below at some possibilities.

Water bottle, cup or stickers to adore a water bottle

This gift is a two fold, better for the enviroment if you have a resuable water bottle and it can be fun to personalize. There are so many options and styles to chose from. If you are on the Stanley bandwagon, Target has these 2 pack 20oz cups with lids that are fun!

Door Dash/Uber Eats gift card/Freezer meals

I don't know about you but one of the best things after you a treatment or a down day is having a meal prepared for you or the option to order take out/delivery! If you live in a metro area, Door Dash/Uber Eats gift cards are a great gift. If you are in a more rural area, consider gifting a freezer or fresh meal!

Fuzzy blanket

You can't go wrong at Christmas with gifting a fuzzy, warm blanket. The options are endless and can even be personalized for that special person on your list.

Earbuds

Earbuds/headphones are a game changer for somebody who goes to a setting outside of the home for treatments. They can be a lifesaver! They are also great for the individual who gets worn out holding the phone up to chat.

Charger

There's nothing worse than sitting through a treatment when your phone has died. Chargers come in all sizes and varieties and can make a great gift for the receiver to keep in their "treatment" bag. (See below)

Fanny pack/bag

I like to keep all my "treatment" supplies in one place which means I have a specific "treatment" bag for them. Easy to grab and the stuff is always there. A treatment bag/fanny pack can be a great netural gift for somebody who is making frequent visits to treatment facilities or the hospital.

Magazine subscription

I'm likely aging myself with this idea but flipping through a magazine is a great mind shifting activity for somebody facing challenges with their health. Also, who doesn't love getting mail? If you are looking for a deal, Groupon even has magazine subscriptions that you can gift others.

Bed tray

I'm embarrassed to say how much I've used a bed tray in the last two years. Eating, working, just accomplishings tasks while sitting in bed. These can also be a game changer. Mine isn't real pretty but it does have a cup holder and folds easily to store it. Amazon has a ton of options.

Fuzzy slippers

Chances are if you've had a hopsital stay, they've quickly made you dress in those lovely yellow no slip socks. I love having my own slippers for both at home and for times when I have had to head into the big house. This is another gift that has endless possibilities for the receiver. You can spend a lot with name brand slippers or pick out some seasonal, more affordable ones from a department store. Make sure they have the no slip, skid bottoms for safety.

Sunglasses

One of the first things I reach for when I leave the hospital after a treatment is my sunglasses! After you've been in a dark environment it's super annoying to have the sun in your eyes. Sunglasses can be a great gift. Like many of the other ideas, there are so many options and choices which can be tailored to the receiver.

What are some of your ideas? Happy gifting!
