Next Saturday, October 26, 2024, the Myasthenia Gravis Association will host its 64th Annual Meeting & Educational Conference in hybrid capacity which provides individuals the option to participate either in person in Kansas City at St. Joseph Medical Center, Community Center D or virtually via Zoom. There is no cost to attend the conference.
We are excited to host two keynotes, Dr. Vickie Petz Kaspar who is living with MG and will share her journey with attendees. Followed by Dr. Tania Papsdorf of Lake Regional Hospital who will recap what all has transpired in the MG space over the last 8 years as far as treatments and therapies.
For in person attendees, registration will start at 8:30am CST, offering the chance to get to speak with over 12 service providers who will showcase their therapies, products, and services. Additionally, MGA gear will be for sale as well as a special bake sale. Breakfast and lunch will be served with the event closing out at 1pm CST.
For virtual attendees, the start time is approximately 9:15am CST and conclude by 11:45am CST. Virtual attendees who are registered by 10/18/24 will get a meeting packet in the mail. If you register after 10/18/24, you will still receive a packet however not guaranteed by the time of the meeting.
Lastly, we are once again offering free nursing CEU’s to nurses who attend the keynote sessions as provided by ARJ Infusion, a Promptcare Company. Nurses who would like to receive the continuing education hours should enter their information upon registration.
